I took a drive yesterday just to see what I could see. Just as the sun was setting I found myself at Seaforth Park on Lake Jordan in North Carolina. I didn’t have a tripod with me so my shots were pretty limited the more the light faded. I only managed to get in a few photos. Here are my two favorites:
This shot was quite abstract and so in processing I went ahead and pushed it a little more. The trees were so straight and even from top to bottom that even in my viewfinder it made it difficult to tell what was what. I’ll give you a clue: there is no mirror reflection in the water. This abstract is meant to be a little confusing to figure out what exactly you’re looking at.
That’s all I’ve got for today.
Technical Details:
Nikon D600 w/ Nikon 50mm f/1.4 G AF-S
Well, you succeeded in creating a confusing picture! I’m not sure whether your clue helped or not! 🙂

Hello Diomar! Glad you are enjoying the photos. Thank you for the good words about them. I’m back in Brazil. I will not be coming out to the rig this time so I was able to bring my camera. Soon, I will be able to post more photos of your beautiful country. Let me know if you get around Macae anytime in the next few weeks and we can meet up.
Cheers,
Tom
