I’m still up here on The North Slope and have been too busy to do much photography but I wanted to share one I got while on my way to “the office”. Not much traffic besides the Arctic Foxes, Red Foxes and the odd scattering of Caribou.
It was about -40 fahrenheit and quite windy when I shot this. To put that into perspective, it’s about 105 degrees warmer back home in North Carolina. With the wind up here (-74 degrees windchill), it is wicked, hateful, dangerously cold if you’re not fully covered up – like parts falling off of you cold. I can’t wait to get back home to my family.
